Finally the Guardians!

I'd been waiting for this species to show up! I like how translation is solved in different ways in different books.

Interesting new races.

I very much like that the new races are fairly thought out. I say fairly in a good way though as he starts by giving a solid frame work to draw from before entering the continuing characters. I did not want to use term ‘main characters’ since that implies the aliens in the book are not the feature.

My only criticism was one moment when a character made a ‘wrong choice’ (my opinion) that should have been corrected from their previous experience in another book.

I whole heartedly recommend the series.

How to Accidentally Cause an Interspecies Conflict

I love this story because it's an alien invasion story told from the other species perspective, and they're trying to interpret the actions of the "invading" humans without being able to communicate. It's fantastic!
