AIRWAVES V: A Wayfarers Story is a retro-futuristic thriller set in the Central and Finger Lakes regions of New York State.
It was Monday, a typical late spring morning, when Abby E. of Pirate Radio AM 63 began her 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on-air shift in the station hub of Elbridge. The “typical” didn’t last long, as three power plant explosions in the western part of the state manifested in rapid succession.
More tragic events unfolded in the coming hours, accompanied by meticulously choreographed cell and power outages. And with those outages came a motor vehicle ban throughout the state and beyond. Who was responsible? Was it all just a “game”?
As the AM 63 on-air personalities provide commentary and a musical backdrop to the events, two former members of the defunct CIA aim to find the one person who is responsible for the carnage. That one psychotic individual has assistance in the form of the ALL World Order that, of course, doesn’t exist. What will be the “end game”?
