  Meanwhile, Josh surprises his family by proposing to his girlfriend, and they start planning a Christmas wedding. But bad weather forces them to change their plans, and instead they gather for a pre-wedding party. Despite the unexpected turn of events, the couple is overjoyed when they tie the knot surrounded by their loved ones.
  
  After the wedding, Josh and Vicki embark on their honeymoon in Alaska, where they experience turbulence on a flight with Vicki's cousins. But despite the bumpy ride, they return home safely and filled with happy memories.

  Back in Koyuk, Alaska, where Josh's family is building a church, they meet with Pastor Frank to discuss progress on the project. During this meeting, they announce Vicki is pregnant, which brings even more joy and excitement to the family.
  
  As they search for a new house to accommodate their growing family, Josh and Vicki find one that seems perfect, but comes at a high price. Despite being discouraged at first, they turn to prayer and continue searching until they finally find their dream home.
  
  In addition to working on the church project in Koyuk, Jack decides to join in building a church in Bethel. This brings the family even closer together as they work towards a common goal.
