Buster was actually a good guy who was loved by his family and all of those who knew. His subconscious desires drove all those he admired and loved away from him as he gave up everything for a single property that epitomized all his hopes and dreams in life but, ironically, only revealed delusional secrets and failures. Success was never a problem for him, but similar to Icarus, one can become to self-consumed, to narrow-minded, and end up ruining lives and goals achieved. The universe, i.e., karma speaks to us in many ways, and he was consciously aware of this but his ambitions overtook his good judgment. Like any continual series of bad decisions, those who don't heed the cautionary signs given to us by life and adapt in the wrong manner are left in isolation and, literally, wallowing in their own filth. This isn't a tale of what could have been, but what not to be and much. Taken down one notch at a time by reality, our narrator finds himself confused, scared, and nothing short of enlightened and wiser at the end of this escapade. Although he isn't privy as life falls apart in front of him, our chronicler finds himself at rock bottom but enlightened after a series of horrible choices and bad decisions in the end. Like Pandora, humorous hope is the only thing left after the series of blunders that expose how unrealistic and selfish that he has been as he so narrowly focuses on trying to make the impossible possible. As all humans, he is left mortal and humbled but only time will if he has become wiser!
