Great biography!

I enjoyed this book. It told the story of Bill without digging to deep in the dirt…nor did he let him off easy. Bill was a handful! But that is where the great music came from. Just a man sharing his soul.

Good information about BWs thinking and creative process.

I was not particularly impressed with the narration. Sometimes it was fine with proper inflections and emotion. Most of the time it seemed like the narrator was just going through the motions, not really paying attention to the story. At times it was like listening to the drone of automated text to speech, like my automobile GPS device. The book was Informative about the music business and its effects on his career. It’s pleasing to find out that he was the real deal, rejecting showbiz fame and superficial celebrity.
