Once upon a time, Dinosaurs ruled the Earth.
But the Mesozoic era – the Age of Reptiles – came to its cataclysmic end sixty-five million years ago.
The Age of Monsters begins tonight.
And the world of humankind will crumble.
Some will call it Judgment. Some will attempt to fight. Others will simply run. Most will just try and survive.
But no one will escape.
In the mountains. In the oceans. In the cities and towns. Even up in space.
Where were YOU when the world ended?

Other elements I liked was the some of the characters, the chemistry between Rosa and Lucas was cute, and the scenes with Jonah, Naomi, and the hippie couple were funny. Lastly, I liked the lore involving Monster Island. It makes curious as what the mystery is with the island and the residential Professor Hinkle.
What I do not like about the book were a few grammatical and punctual errors, such as when the title chapter 28 was unbolded, or when ‘Troodon’ was spelled as ‘Toodon’. The biggest problem is that it is outside the norm of paleontology and how we associate dinosaurs today. If an actual paleontologist read this, they will most likely have a heart attack.
Regardless, I was really entertained with Age of Monsters, and I am curious as to what else the other books in this series have in store.
Action for days.

It had such aggressive story ideas. Then…
This odd human drama started round chapter 9 and lasted a few chapters.
Ugh!
Luckily I hung in there.
Because… From there on the book is one long action scene ( no make that action scenes )
The author comes up with unique twists on classic tropes that kept me guessing at what the heck was happening
… sometimes.
However, I had such fun hanging on to the edge of my seat I really didn’t care.
It felt the author really gave this story every thing he had. Held nothing back. He doesn’t cut corners but keeps coming up with strange unique ideas, each one building on the last, until you are in awe of the scope and range of this tale.
Now I do say this book is epic… for a prehistoric monster tale. Know what I mean?
Plus very good narration that never gets in the way of the story.
