After the Haiti Earthquake

Russell Maroni, an x-ray tech at Akron Children’s Hospital, wrote a journal detailing what he saw and what he experienced as a volunteer in Haiti in February 2010, after the devastating earthquake. The journal shares his first-hand experiences and photos, as taken by volunteers. The journal also shares some of the context for Russell’s use of the “Lean” methodology that was taught to him at Akron Children’s Hospital. We hope readers will donate to our selected Haiti charity partner, Friends of the Orphans, or to anybody who is helping in Haiti's recovery.
