Robert M. Gullberg M.D., F.A.C.P., is from Park Ridge, Illinois and was educated at Northwestern University with a degree in inorganic Chemistry. He attended the University of Illinois Medical School, graduating in 1981, followed by internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Evanston Hospital, then affiliated with Northwestern University Medical School. He had excellent training there under the tutorege of Dr. Steven Kurtides, Chief of Medicine. His residency was followed by a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois where he was mentored by Dr. John Phair.

He has practiced Infectious Diseases in a large community hospital for over three decades. During that time, he has trained hundreds of medical students, PA students, residents, and nursing students at all levels. He is a seasoned lecturer in Clinical Infectious Diseases, and he continues to teach principles of Infectious Diseases on daily.
