The story continues as I, we, all of us, strive to find a solution to the problems which plague Chi'cagoa Rea and the unfortunate demihumans who live here. Bonny Red, myself, my sister, Rebecca... all of us do our best, but sometimes good ideas can come from unexpected sources, and are all the more galling because they should have been expected. Fauve has an idea, an idea so crazy, so dangerous, so absurd, that it might just work.

And because of what we learn, I a long buried truth of human nature comes to light, and it illuminates a buried truth of my own home world's distant past. In the end, I understand things I hadn't contemplated before, and if I'm being honest, I have to admit it made me no happier.

I loved how many event both in the past with real events in history as well as foreshadowing for things that will happen in later books or just simply later in this book were used. it was a truly fantastic book to listen too even with the AI voice over.

One of the best series I've heard so far

I enjoyed the story arc, or how things worked together to progress the story. The characters seemingly doing things that are used to make the story proceed in a believable manner.

How a student can get things done. The two aliens working together to accomplish their goals.

Like in every book the characters are just the best I have ever read about! Just the AI voice is just not great but doesn't change the book being a great story.

I originally found this series on youtube where they have the first couple books. loved it so so much when i found out there was more books in the series i came straight here and got all of them. although i much prefer a human narrator , the AI on this one is not so bad and the story line is so good i can live with the AI. Do hope at some point these will get remade with a real person narrator.
story line is very inciteful, take another look at humans how we see ourselves and how we might be viewed by another species. love the family aspect, the friendships, really everything
