The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework promotes teaching and learning to ensure children’s ‘school readiness’ and gives them a broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the right foundation for good future progress through school and life.

This is the adapted framework for schools running the EYFS curriculum outside the UK. It helps to get acquainted with the quality and standards of provision as well as serves as a guide to effectively run this curriculum. It spells out the learning and development requirements, early learning goals, together with the safeguarding and welfare of young children in an EYFS setting in line with the standards that established this curriculum.
