Alexa's story has always been one of the most inspiring things I've heard, and having it in both digital and audiobook form has been nothing short of pivotal in my life.

I was first introduced to who Alexa was when searching for an internship in college. I remember doing research on her and her company, Women EmpowerX, and feeling so inspired by everything I was seeing. I had the pleasure of working with her for almost two years and the knowledge she imparted on me during that time, both about marketing and life itself, still has an impact today.

Even though I had been familiar with the parts of Alexa's story we worked together to share with the world, I wasn't prepared for the wisdom and inspiration that she left on the pages of her book. Alexa truly poured her heart and soul into this book and it's evident that she wants her readers to use the lessons she's learned to succeed.

Furthermore, the audiobook provides a unique experience as Alexa narrated the book herself! I felt like I was chatting with a friend/mentor that was constantly dropping truth bombs and sharing life lessons (which are the BEST kind of chats with friends 🙌🏻).

If you don't read/listen to this book, you are truly missing out! Alexa's mission is to make a difference in one person's life a day and I can promise you you'll be one of the lucky ones as she makes a difference over and over in your life while you journey through her book.

I read the book, however listening to the book was a different experience I didn’t expect. At times I felt like I was walking on the streets of NYC experiencing adventure and heartache. I cried, laughed and cheered with her. Each story had a lesson to learn from with action steps to learn along the way.

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger…

In complete transparency I’ve already read this book. Honestly, I couldn’t put it down. I was offered the opportunity to review the audio version. I decided to randomly open up a page of the physical book to listen into that portion of the book. This quote “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger… if you let it.” By no coincidence THIS was the exact message I needed today! I’m grateful for this powerful book and now it’s even better that I get to hear it straight from Alexa’s voice! Run don’t walk to tune into this heartfelt, vulnerable, action oriented book!

I love the vintage Faberge shampoo commercial that boasts how much the product will be loved. Two people tell two friends and so on and so on. This is how I feel about the audio version of "Adaptable."

I adored Alexa's written book. Each chapter spoke to me. When Alexa gifted me a copy of her audio book, that meant each chapter could actually speak to me. The only request was that I share honest feedback.

I am in a different place in my life now that I have read the book. Different chapters of the book resonated with me as I listened to it. One of my favorite quotes is, "Feed opportunities. Starve obstacles."

Alexa shares her adventures and setbacks with raw honesty. This book is for anyone wanting assistance with overcoming circumstances. Adaptable is empowering and healing. Listen. Rewind. Repeat.

In my work, there are so many opportunities to have the conversation about adaptability - and refer them to this book! All of the women in my pelvic floor yoga program are experiencing changes in their body. Through yoga poses and breath work, I'm teaching them how to be adaptable during these changes.

This book is such a game changer! It has inspired me and will enable me to inspire so many others.
