Overcoming Political Apathy in Jamaica

The need for Jamaicans to become active and engaged citizens is impatient of debate, especially at this time when the country is experiencing significant social and economic problems that are retarding its development and robbing many persons of the opportunity to realize their potential and become the best version of themselves. Noting that the time is ‘rescue-Jamaica o’clock,’ the Author makes a passionate appeal to his fellow Jamaicans to set and keep their ‘civic antenna’ at the “on” position, enabling them to be able to perceive, process, comment, and act on matters of national interest.
