worth the wait!

finally got to listen to the finally book in the black badge series and it was just as good as I hoped it would be.

Favorite so far!

The story has only gotten a lot better. The performance is as good as ever. Idk if we’ll get another but I sure as heck want one.

Nice brain candy, nothing too in depth

The story was aight, little rushed. But the ending was rather unsatisfactory. Roger Clark's narration carried a lot of it to be honest.

It was a great run!

I have been on this roller coaster, since the beginning. I guess the only reason why I didn’t give the story the full 5 stars was because of the ending. It didn’t have to be a happy one for James but dam couldn’t he have ended up somewhere else after all that. I guess I’ll have to wait another 2 years if there is a chance of another book.

Ace in the Hole

I loved every minute of this book. It’s so easy to hear this book like watching a good western on tv. This is the second book of course which it was easy to remember what went on in the first book whenever they reflected back to it in this book. The performance was so easy to see as the narrative read the story and performance and change of voices was flawless. Great entertainment.

The intertwining of different mythical creatures

The sweet revenge against a former villain. The beloved horse Temperina. This book is good and I would like another!

Excellent Narration and Very Entertaining

Cowboys, Angels, Shape Shifters, and Ghouls... (and Vampires, Oh MY!).

It was REALLY FUN to listen to! I LOVED the entire series and I'm sad "Ace in the Hole" is the final story in the series. The authors are very creative and have vivid imaginations and although I'm not sure how I feel about the way it ended, it's a very entertaining story that's cleverly written and it has become one of my favorites. I was sort of hoping for a somewhat different ending; HOWEVER, the authors' talent and skills to transform their ideas into a story so interesting that you don't want to take a break from it combined with the narrator's delivery of the story is nothing short of EXCELLENT! A Western with SciFi and Supernatural elements makes it the most incredible Western story I've ever heard. Again, the narrator was very good at performing all the different voices and his COWBOY VOICE was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! I felt like I was in the 1700's or 1800's Wild, Wild, West.😁

If you like action-packed, comedic, entertainment and/or just want to listen to something different or new, I highly recommend listening to this audiobook and series EVEN IF the Western/SciFi/Supernatural genre isn't your favorite genre. I can't express how much I truly love the narration!! This story as well as the entire series will put a smile on your face. 😁

Great series with standout characters and Wild West class

I love how the audio compliments the great writing. Together we have one of the most unique and true to life audiobooks out there. Not just over the course of the trilogy’s release, but within decades of listening to audiobooks. The characters have character and the narrator adds to their gritty Wild West with demons tone. The story and their will to survive carry us through another mix of suspense, humor and surprises. My compliments to the chefs.

Sad to see it go

I waited eagerly for this book to drop I loved every second of it this was a masterpiece although I’m sad to see the series come to an end as I find myself wanting more after each book I’m hooked this was the best series of books I’ve ever enjoyed well done to all who brought it to life and Roger Clark for bringing life to the words on the page
