We live in an age of paradox, where abundance breeds emptiness and progress marches backward into confusion. The machinery of modern life churns on, demanding our time, our energy, our very breath—offering promises it cannot keep and solutions that deepen the problems they claim to solve.

This collection exists in the space between what is and what should be. These poems are mirrors held up to the absurdity we have learned to accept as normal: the fees that beget fees, the hours that multiply like rabbits, the distance that grows between us and those we love most, all while we struggle to afford the basic dignity of existence.

The metaphors here are threads connecting the ridiculous to the tragic. They are invitations to see clearly—not to despair, but to recognize.
