“Abby’s Test” is the sequel to “Abby’s Maze.” In this story, we look in on Abby’s first year in solo practice. Between work and family life, she is hitting her stride.

She has an expanding practice, even with the challenges presented by a new client with an extreme hoarding disorder. In addition to her growing practice, she has the support of her husband’s accounting firm in the same building. With daycare for their 18-month-old daughter in the building next door to her office, life couldn’t be better.

Things take a turn for the worse after an elderly client deals with his grief in an unexpected way. As a consequence, Abby and her family experience an escalating series of unexpected and disturbing incidents. When Abby learns she is pregnant with a second child, she and her husband Russell decide to move out of their subdivision, hoping to leave unpleasant memories behind.
Neither of them can possibly foresee what will happen to Abby in what they had come to believe was their dream home.
