AN INTRODUCTION TO OPTIMISTIC-SKEPTICAL PHILOSOPHY

This text represents my attempt to understand why the world doesn’t change when one wants to change it—and why that may be just as it should be. Far from offering solutions, it proposes an attitude that combines trust in the idea that everything has an order—even if we don’t fully understand it—with a permanent doubt about our own certainties: skeptical optimism. This is not a contradiction, but a balance. A way of being in the world without messianic pretensions or cynical resignation.
