Acerca de esta escucha

Captain Asil Silverwood and the crew of the Alpha are back and this time, they are not alone!

In the early twenty-second century, our world is dying and humans are in a desperate search of a new world for colonization.
Asil and his crew are sent to Barnard's Star to explore an exoplanet in the Goldilocks Zone.
Mysteriously, their exploration ship, the Alpha, drops from hyperspace near the star Altair.

Magnetic storms and impossible radiation drive the crew to an ice planet where, unbelievably, life already exists!
First encounters with alien creatures imperil the crew as they uncover the secrets of a planet that ties them to ancient events from Earth's past.

DISCOVERY:

An Earth ship crash-landed on a ice planet years before we went to the moon!
An ancient alien prophecy bearing clues to a weapon that could have changed Earth history!
Stolen Earth paintings hiding alien technology!
A map with secrets the Germans sought to use to win WWII!

..."Make sure you search the body," I said. "He may have hidden the map in his suit or under his chair." "You come and search the body," she said. "With that smile on his face, I am not going near him."
"She's always been a little leery of dead, smiling men," Connor piped in from above. "Kind of what you look like after a roll in the hay," she shot back.

THE CREATURES

... It initially had four points on the ground but when the creature finally stood fully erect, it stood on two legs. The alien had two long arms that hung massively down to just above its knees. At the ends of the arms were large five-fingered hands with, what appeared to be, sharp claws at the end.
...I implanted the electrodes-of-death into the neck of the beast in the same instant. The beast screamed in agony! It rolled flat onto its side. It lay there, its muscles spasming, as it attempted to regain control of its body.

THE BATTLE

...The scene that unfolded before my eyes would best fit into those absurd science fiction books of the early twentieth century. Star-fighters—their red and green lights flashing and spinning—rested near smashed gun turrets and other destroyed weaponry. Dark craters, where the enemy's powerful laser cannons must have once fired upon incoming vessels and artillery, were all that was left of the anti-aircraft guns. Many of the powerful lights of the base flickered on and off in the darkness. In the wavering lights, I saw the barrels of the long guns bent haphazardly as if some giant force like a tornado had swept in and rendered them useless.

Asil and his crew are embroiled in a world of human and alien espionage! A world which holds secrets that could have changed WWII and may, still, change Earth's future if they fail!
