Shockingly well told . . . a tad confusing in that . . .

Shockingly well told . . . a tad confusing in that the writer did not easily differentiate between which character was speaking . . . “he said, she said” . . . I couldn’t stop listening to it! I hope there is a sequel to it that I am unaware of . . . I would relish a continuation of same . . . SKH

AI voice stinks

Virtual voice is terrible. I would not pay for a title that has AI voice telling the story.

Virtual voice nullification

The virtual voice took out anything positive I have to say. I gave it 45 minutes. That’s enough.

Disappointed

This is the first and last time I’ll knowingly listen to a virtual performance in audio books for the foreseeable future. This decision is based upon both principle and quality. I chose to do so this time, against my principles which prefer to support the actors, out of curiosity. The performance was not only lackluster but there were notable instances of mispronunciation, incorrect translation of abbreviations and contractions, lack of or misplaced emphasis, and mundane emotions. Such a disservice to the author and the otherwise well written story.

Good story bad narration

The virtual choice on this was horrible. No emotion at all. When the story needed emotion it was thoroughly missing. If audio books are doing this i will no longer choose this type of narration. Sometimes humans are better than artificial .

Hard to listen to.

The computer voice is hard to listen to. Only made it through a few chapters.
