Theo Webster was always told he’d grow out of his sleepwalking, but now he’s about to turn sixteen and the problem seems to be getting worse, not better, as Theo continually wakes up with more and more serious injuries. Randalls, a sleep research facility deep in the New York countryside, is his last hope. It’s a select boarding school where sleep scientists treat a small number of teenagers with often terrifying conditions—night terrors, sleep paralysis, narcolepsy. But the total surveillance of the school reveals an even more disturbing truth—it seems Theo is actually disappearing, slipping into some parallel world and coming back with the scars to prove it.
