Resumen del Editor

The selfish and gorgeous Greek God Triton is cast out of Olympus after seducing Zeus' mistress and can only gain reentry if he finds a woman who loves him for his kindness and selflessness, not his beauty. When the mortal Sophia - recovering from an eye operation and virtually blind - needs a home healthcare worker, he takes on the role, hoping she will be his ticket home.

While defending Sophia from an unknown adversary, Triton's protective instinct emerges. At the same time, rival Gods do everything to doom him to failure. And even if Triton can win Sophia's love, will he throw it away to return home, or will he lose his own heart to the only woman who truly sees him?

Romantic Fluff.

I'm a huge fan of the Scanguards series so I went ahead and gave this book a try. I did enjoy this book it is a nice piece of romantic fluff, although I like the other series better. I am also a fan of stories with the Greek mythology included, my favorite being Sherrilyn Kenyon for romance and Percy Jackson for kids. The story line wouldn't have been my first pick, but since it was Tina Folsom I gave it a try. With that in mind I wasn't a huge fan of Triton, he does improve immensely which is why I continued on with the story. Overall a 3.5 rating. I will probably read the remaining books eventually, but I might wait for a sale. Narrator is good, he has a nice sexy voice.

T'WAS A JOY TO LISTEN TO THIS PARANORMAL ROMANCE

Naughty naughty Triton, a bad boy Greek God and a supreme playboy (well he's so handsome the ladies just throw themselves at him) but he seduces one too many women and the fall from grace thankfully gives us, the listeners, a very entertaining and enjoyable listen.

As Triton embarks on his 'mission' we encounter mythology, some memorable likeable and charismatic characters which includes his friends Dionysus, Eros and Hermes, a meddlesome half brother, secrets, murder attempts, a greedy cousin and a few twists that Triton's blindsided by.

This was a fairly lighthearted fun story about the instant attraction and sexual chemistry between Triton and Sophia which awards us a tender, steamy, sexy, touching romance as they both have to learn to trust each other - but unfortunately, outsiders cause havoc in their budding relationship with some disastrous consequences. Humorous dialogue finishes off the merits of this well written, well narrated romantic paranormal mythological journey of self-discovery, sacrifice and love as Triton and Sophia finally succumb to their inevitable destinies.

Worth a credit? It's left me panting for more, so that's a definite YES and I can't wait for book 2 A Scent of Greek which is Dionysus' love story.

Awesome!!

Would you consider the audio edition of A Touch of Greek to be better than the print version?

No, but in my opinion there's nothing better than smelling a books pages.

What did you like best about this story?

The Greek Mythology!!

Which character – as performed by Eric G. Dove – was your favorite?

Sophia of course! Always love a strong heroine.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Triton finally realizes how much Sophia means to him.

Any additional comments?

This was my first audio book and I realized that I have been missing out. Loved Tina Folsom's Scanguards, and all things vampire lol, but also loved Greek mythology. I stumbled across Folsom's books being discussed and thought I'd check them out. I haven't looked back since lol. I've heard a lot of people complain about some of the narrators and them making it sound horrible, but this one didn't detract from the book. If anything it made it better ;) Take a nice, warm bath and start listening to this book you will feel like you are actually on a beach in Greece.

Falling in love with a mortal

What did you love best about A Touch of Greek?

Titus learn to love Sophia and learns how to be in service to another losing his arrogance in the process. I find the characters comforting and refreshing.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Touch of Greek?

Titus leaves Sophia thinking he is under a love spell and doesn't want to hurt her when he forgets her when the spell wears off, but once he realizes that he truly loves her, he can't stay away.

Have you listened to any of Eric G. Dove’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, but he did a great job with the voices and was easy to listen too.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I loved the story in book form and couldn't wait to hear the audiobook version. It didn't disappoint. It made my walking routine go by in a flash.

Any additional comments?

The Greek series is quirky, fun and sexy. You will like every moment with the gods. Folsom has a way to bring her characters to life and makes you want to know them.

Need new narrator!

I love to read and have read and loved all of Tina's books. I was very skeptical but found I liked to be able to listen & do other things at the same time. However, this narrator did not make it easy. When he just narrates he is good. His character voices are just AWFUL, especially women. Even worse is his fake southern accent which is atrocious.

Love is blind.

I apsolotly love greek mythology! And I always appreciate a good romance about one of the Greek Gods. I did see bad reviews on this book so I was skeptical, but I went with my first instinct and listened to it anyway. And I wasn't disappointed. So good!

A fun excape with meddling gods and romance

Would you listen to A Touch of Greek again? Why?

Yes. Because it is is a short but sweat and entertaining story and the reading was well done.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Triton was my favorite character. Because I always enjoy seeing a bad boy get schooled into recognizing his bad deeds and making amends for them. And it's even better when finding love is the prompting force.

Which character – as performed by Eric G. Dove – was your favorite?

Triton, of course. But I also thought he did a good job, as usual, on the other characters as well.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

Any additional comments?

Sometimes you just want to read something short and sweet with a little bit of romance and comedy thrown in to escape from the boorishness and stress of your real life. For me, “A Touch of Greek” was just that. I always love reading good books with gods in them and if it’s got some romance and funny parts too then even better. Sure the premise wasn’t exactly original but I thought it was well paced and entertaining. The characters were believable and drew me in to either root for them or wish for their quick downfall. It was so entertaining that I finished it in one day of almost nonstop listening. The reading by Eric G. Dove was also well done. I’m happy to add this to my collections of romance books involving meddling gods and look forward to others from Tina Folsom.

Tina Folsom does it again

This is a fun love story involving mythology. Ms. Folsom sure knows how to spin a story for the reader. The story is nicely paced and contains a little of everything, like love, comedy and suspense. The narrator has done a wonderful job narrating the story. I could close my eyes and envision the story playing out. I love this series.

Good Start to the Series but suspend reality!

This was a cute take of modern Greek Gods in the 21st Century. Although the God's were not 100% accurate in their positions, the author had fun with it. A few things bothered me though.

1. The best friend essentially disappeared after she went on a business trip.

2. The h was supposed to be strong but she was essentially a doormat.

3. The H is shocked that he was daydreaming towards the last half of the story because he never does it yet daydreaming is what got him stripped of his powers and sent on his journey.

I will listen to the second book and hopefully will find out if the best friend is still alive.

A Good Story to Pass the Time

Triton, a bad boy Greek God, is punished by Zeus for sleeping with Zeus’ mistress. His punishment, he is exiled to Earth to find a mortal woman that will love him for him and not his good looks that make all the girls go OWWWW!!!! Sophie is a mortal that is trying to open a B&B in the midst of financial problems, a seedy contractor, and a deceiving cousin, oh, did I mention she has recently had a horrible accident that has render her mostly blind. Triton sees this as the perfect opportunity to woo Sophia because she is blind and she won’t be able to judge him based on his looks.

I decided to listen to this book because I adore Tina’s Scanguard Vampires series. Although the storyline is predictable, its redeeming quality is the interaction between Triton, Dionysus, Hermes and Eros. Tina has the ability to write a story that delivers humor and witty comebacks that causes the reader/listener to smile or laugh while they are listening to the story. The fours gods were hilarious and offer a nice shake up throughout the story. I also thought Sophia’s best friend was funny as well. As always, Tina writes some steamy, hot romance scenes. Seriously be careful, they might melt your headphones.

Eric did a great job with the narration. Unlike some male narration, they have a tendency to make the female voices shrill and too high. Eric did a nice balance with the female voice, making them feminine without high shrill. His narration for Triton curled my toes, yumm!!

Worth a credit, sure. The story is enjoyable and the characters are quite likable if not just a bit predictable.
