kinky emo vampire goodness

Interesting characters and some unexpected rules about vampirism made this book fly by! The narrator captured the essence of the characters well, including mr. broody vamp.

I have a new favorite narrator

I usually read Kate's books in kindle form but I wanted to see if the audio was any good, and boy was I suprised that I fell for this voice.

While there were times that the narrator lost the inflection used for different characters, it didn't take me out of the story.

The vampire mates setup was really sweet and the sex scenes was hot, I can't wait until the next book.

Sexy and Fantastic

A Thousand Lifetimes by Kate Hawthorne is a m/m romance with sexy vampires, intense bonds, and a love worth dying for. There is drama, angst, humor, lust, steam and love. There are scenes that broke my heart, and scenes that stitched it back together again. I love the characters and I want more from this universe.

Christopher Rourke narrates this story and does a fantastic job.  The voice works is well done and the sexy voice gives me exactly what I want when reading a vampire romance.  The recording to smooth. 

A fated mates vampire romance!🧛‍♂️❤️

This was such a sweet paranormal, low angst vampire romance with fated mates.

The characters were likeable and well fleshed out and I loved the world building absolutely fabulous!
The author's writing style was engaging and enjoyable.

Christopher Rourke did an outstanding audio delivery. His narration made this story all the more compelling and entertaining.

I really loved this book. Great story line. Little angst. SO MANY SEXY TIMES. Narration was awesome. I think Christopher Rourke going to be a popular new narrator. I overall highly recommend this book.

This is one if my favorite vampire books. Hearing it being read especially by this narrator absolutely brings it to life! Love!

Dark, Erotic with a good storyline.

All I can say is wow! It's been a while since I have found good MM Vampires and this fits the bill. no sparkles but a good romance, especially if you like it very erotic and no holds barred. believe it or not, a dark story can get you in the feels. I had my hand over my mouth or gasping a few times and will admit to tears near the end!
Christopher Rourke is fairly new to me but I will say he did a knock-out job on this book. I will definitely be coming back for more!

Entertaining vampire story

I am not sure why this book got bad reviews. Too much blood!! too much sex!!! its a vampire story, there's supposed to be blood and sex. I am hoping the other brothers will get stories of their own. I thought this was a good story and the narrator did a great job bringing the characters to life. like I said , I hope that there will be more books to come. well worth the credit and your time to listen.

A bloody vampire romance

When I first read this book, I wasn't a fan of how unexpectedly violent and bloody it was. I still think some content warnings are in order for torture, gore, and violence, but I admit that I enjoyed this audio significantly more after preparing myself for a rocky journey. Ezra and Declan's romance started off deceptively calmly, with plenty of steam and filthy love-making but little overall danger. As the storyline outside the romance developed, I was equal parts thrilled and horrified to see the events of this story take a sharp turn into violence and bloodshed. These vampires are not messing around when it comes to mates, politics, and territorial disputes, and it was darkly fascinating to see just how far they would go to get what they wanted. Some of the worst moments made me actually sick to think about, but even during those times the thinnest thread of hope kept me listening on for a happy ending. While I was undeniably satisfied by where these characters ended up at the end of it all, I don't know if I'd call Ezra and Declan's ending a traditional happily-ever-after. Despite wanting to pretend everything is back to normal, these two still have a lot of emotional baggage to work through, and I wish the author had explored their healing stages more. Despite that, I really enjoyed this narrator's performance and the uniquely fascinating world Kate Hawthorne has built.
