Napoleon Augustus Jennings was a prominent member of the Texas Rangers responsible for border patrol under the command of L.H. McNelly. South Texas was overrun by outlaws. Jenning’s account includes many incidents of clashes with Mexican guerrillas and confrontations with John Wesley Hardin and others.

Not a finished production

The story was interesting, but the narration appeared to be incomplete. There were many errors and in between chapters the narrator appeared to give a very unusual summarization of the upcoming chapter. It did not match up with the book itself and was distracting.

This is the worst book ever written about the Texas Rangers

And who thought a guy with that accent would be a good fit to read it. Please don’t waste your time.
