Great Story

love the storyline but the voice simulator is awful. consider a different one next time. Also in this day and age somelines the negative racial slurs are are uncalled for and waaaay out of place in these story lones.

Good stories

The computer narration was hard to listen to. Hard to tell who was speaking at times.

AI missed correct pronouncetionn

The three storylines were all confusing the way they were read. I would not recommend these stories.

This would have been so much better if read by a human.

This is the 8th book I’ve tried with virtual voice, and it will be the last. The lack of emotion is off putting and the mispronunciations drive me nuts! Hearing the word ‘read’ pronounced as ‘reed’ instead of ’red’ throws everything off. And they can’t get the virtual to recognize common abbreviations like OR, so someone is rushed to the ‘or’ instead of to the O R. Someone dials ‘nine eleven’ instead of 9 1 1. Lack of inflection and pauses in strange places throw off the meaning of a sentence and you have to rewind and listen again.

Seemed like descent stories but I’ll have to see if I can borrow paper copes from the library.

Good Story, Bad Performance

I really liked the story but really don't like virtual voice. The voice was perky, which is a positive, but not when it is the same for the entire story not matter the situation or who is speaking. The lack of voice tone and change of voice sometimes made it hard to tell who was talking and sometimes caused confusion. Words were sometimes mispronounced or mashed together and things that didn't need to be voiced were causing further confusion. The story itself was good though and would definitely recommend if reading it.

Virtual voice was poor at times with mispronunciation and poor infection making it hard to listen to in certain conversations.

I almost didn’t listen because of the virtual read. Stuck it out and the story was good, but I’d rather have an actual person read

Story was good but I’m not a fan of virtual voice! The monotone voice gets on my nerves!

Good series

Well done story, books flowed easily into the next book in the series, a very enjoyable read

poor narrator

having a virtual narrator ruins the story. expressionless voice disrupts the story. also, some of the words were misread. all in all, a disappointment because of the virtual narrator.
