I Luv this book!

Surprisingly well-thought out. I’m a detail girl. So it wasn’t until towards the last third of this book that I realized without going dark the author covered and resolved all the main character’s issues. It was brilliantly done and brought out all the feels and tears! Also at the beginning when I said surprisingly well-thought out, it wasn’t to shade, but to give accolades for connecting all the dots in a clean way.

Excellent narrators

I enjoyed this story of family, following the ups and downs of life. An excellent portrayal of working through tough times instead of just cutting each other off. Forgiveness and understanding is a lesson we all need to learn.

The story took forever to get anywhere

The premise of the book was ok but the writing was juvenile and the book took forever to get somewhere

Family strength, healing, bonding

Not what I was looking for, but exactly what I needed. This book was good for the soul. Well-written and pacing was perfect for the story. I loved the characters, which is hard to find in newer releases.

Worth the hype

After completing this book I realized why there are so many positive reviews. This book was amazing from start to finish and I didn’t want to put it down until I heard the entire story. I highly recommend this book.

What an Awesome Story

The storyline in this book was awesome, I recommend others read it. My favorite character was Nova. I love how she handled everything she was challenged with throughout the book. Her mom (Martha) and sister Leah were her support along with her daughter Sky. I have never read any books by Lorna Lewis until now but I plan to read more. This was a great story.

Original Story

I enjoyed this journey into a subject I know nothing about, thankfully, that's kidnapping and PTSD. Well-done by the author.
