Hazel and Fox are an ordinary married couple with a baby. Except for one small thing: they're ex-serial killers.
They had it all. An enviable London lifestyle, five-star travels, and plenty of bad men to kill. Not many power couples know how to get away with murder.
Then Hazel fell pregnant and they gave it all up for life in the suburbs; dinner parties instead of body disposal.
But recently Hazel has started to feel that itch again. When she kills someone behind Fox's back and brings the police to their door, she must do anything she can to protect her family.
This could save their marriage - unless it kills them first.

Great guide to any marriage
Satirical representation of marriage.
I love how Haze and Fox are perfect partners in crime. They contrast and complement each other. Fox came from money, Haze from a broken system. Fox is meticulous, Haze is sloppy. Fox is the responsible alpha male while Haze is like a rebellious teenager without a care.
Their shared passion was what brought them together. When they can longer do it, will they be able to maintain the love and passion for each other ?
Insightful observations that apply to marriage and life in general :
We were so busy having fun and being happy that we never took the time to work out if it was the life we loved or each other.
People with money never feel like they have enough.
Silence is an excellent tool for eliciting a confession.
The story is ironical, romantic, funny, insightful, thought-provoking.
I love both narrators. They do the characters justice.
