Outside of the VA …it’s a good book …the storyline was nice …some DV so fair warning

Trigger warnings would’ve been nice for this story. Heart stressed/irritated so badly, but in reality there are more women like her in real. I’m going to try my best to finish this series before I come up with my own ending for it 🤣

I hope its another book because all that ass abuse going on,I need an explanatio..All the book aas about 2 me was her getting beat on by herhusband

Just okay. Kept my attention enough to follow through but not without being highly frustrated with Heart just letting a man treat her any type of way & everyone knew it. I really dislike weak azz main characters would’ve love to see her have a piece of a back bone or any type of get back. Disappointing to say the least but since I’ve come this far will have to finish it out. Here goes nothing but foolishness smh

Her husband was very demanding and abusive

She left and had the baby anyway in seeing how he got along without her

The A1 narration takes away from the story, you could at least use a black voice,

The whole everything was trash, but you know once you start you can’t stop, the ending let me know I could never be entertained by this author ever again!!!, you just ruined thee entire story, Nobody likes to read about a habitual victim, that never gets it together
