Resumen del Editor

The third book in the number one best-selling science fiction Series. This series is Space Opera at its finest. All seven books in the series have been number one best-sellers at Amazon's Science Fiction Series.

The Stars Realm has 832 new members, and they are ready to go to the Galaxy of the plant creatures and attempt to stop their destruction of entire planets. It is not going to be easy having to face fleets of more than a million warships with some of the largest being longer than 20 miles. This confrontation is going to be monumental.

The King and Queen have also given birth to a child, and its psychic abilities are going to play a large role if the Realm is to survive. It may be that the enemy is too large to stop. With space and land battles of epic proportions, the action will keep you engrossed.

Another 5 star book!

It is rare for a Sci-fi book to make you smile, but you will.
Huge space battles, even though the size of the fleets are a bit over the top.
It's nice that Earth isn't getting there ass kick as most Sci-fi battles do.
Very nice ending to the book...Sort of : An everyone lives happly ever after...lol
It is a book very hard to stop listening to.
The 4th book is called Tommy and seems to follow more action.
So far at least a 5 star+
A must listen!

Space Opera & Love Story

Rarely do you have a near fairytale ending in a Space Opera. Reviews by others have been very mixed, but mostly positive. It is my opinion that while this has all the elements of a good Space Opera, including a space battle, good guys, bad guys, impossible weapons, etc. But it has a fairytale ending and somewhat of a fairytale telling.

Makes it unique in the Sci-Fi World.

Really Good Fun!!

This series, which is still in my opinion very light space opera, keeps improving as it keeps going- this rather su*k* for me as this seems to be winding up. Perhaps I will have another series to look forward to, I didn't yet stop and look back at the publication date or check for other works! That should say it all about the engrossing nature of these books really!

Good ending to the trilogy

Would you listen to A Rose Grows in Weeds again? Why?

Yes. I enjoyed all three books and would listen to them again. They are what I would call light sci-fi. A feel good series that doesn't have to many plots within plots within plots. An easy listen. I know others said they were not very realistic in the events that happen, but I still enjoyed all three books.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Rose Grows in Weeds?

The ending, but I don't want to give it away.

Which character – as performed by Liam Owen – was your favorite?

Liam did a great job with the alien voices so you still knew who was speaking.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Rose told about who she was going to marry.

Any additional comments?

A fun listen for all three books. Finished all three in about a week. Didn't want to stop listening. Good thing I had to spend 8 hours in the car in two days.

Maybe it's just me, BUT.......

Would you try another book from Saxon Andrew and/or Liam Owen?

The first book in this series was very, very good for my tastes. Book two was OK. With this book however, the author has fallen into a deep rut that not only he, but other authors and screenwriters make the mistake in trudging through. They have a great book. He now thinks, I have their attention so lets do some social and political brainwashing. A small amount of "if we just talk, we can all get along with each other" goes a long way. Also, I like special powers and abilities, but making things too easy for the good guys make for a boring story. Make the good guys struggle. Don't let them predictably and easily overwhelm the villians each and every time. Then, the villians see the errors of their ways and suddenly want to "all get along and live happily ever after". I want to be entertained, not indoctrinated. If I wanted politcal correctness, I'd go back to watching television. I would not try another book from Saxon Andrew.

What do you think your next listen will be?

I love Space Operas. I'll try and find another author with an original idea to imagine.

Have you listened to any of Liam Owen’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've not heard any of his other performances.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I loved the characters, but have no challenges for them makes them boring Space Gods!

Any additional comments?

Maybe it's just a coincidence. I have read several of Audibles books from different authors. So far, three different Space Operas I've started in as many weeks have been similar stories, similar characters with the boring Godlike powers. It's almost like the same person is writing them all.

Uugg, no more...

When Utopian beliefs write a book. I kept hoping it would get better, but continued to slide down the scale from possible good fiction to not even good bad fiction.
