Entertaining with great plot twists

I am thoroughly enjoying this series. Allison Montclair succeeded again here with Book 3. The characters are well developed and interesting. The plot is keeps me interested and wanting to read until the last page. More rousing than the regular cozy series.

The Best Yet

This is the third in a series that gets better with each new entry. Sparks and Bainbridge, the proprietors of The Right Sort Marriage Bureau, have trouble confining themselves to introducing prospective couples. Dangerous people keep coming their way with problems to be solved that have nothing to do with marriage, but require considerable effort to keep everyone alive, including Sparks and Bainbridge. Well-written and entertaining.

Another Hit!

Another wonderful story from Allison Montclair. This series is so enjoyable. The storyline, characters, narration all top notch.

Excellent addition to the series!

Love the character development in this one especially the mother-in-law. Excellent mystery, surprises and twists. The narrator does an amazing job with so many different accents and children sounding appropriate for their age but not annoying.

Characters that I will miss until the next book

A pleasurable read. The author uses the context of post-war blurring of class lines, changing roles, and a bit of British colonialism to bring depth and variety to the characters of the story. The characters are flawed but fundamentally good people trying to do good in the world and having a good time doing it.

I just plain love this series!

Love it, love it, love it, wish there were more than 3 in this series. I can't wait until the next one.

I love everything about this series!

The characters are well drawn and compelling. The snappy dialogue is delightful. The storytelling is superb and the mystery in each book is twisty and satisfying. The vivid depiction of London and its people just after World War II is deeply pleasing to this history nerd.
