OMG!!! Get to the freaking point for Goodness sakes…so wordy & drags on and on

Not a keeper

I loved the spirited females in this story but most of the plot devices were very contrived, and the motivations of the male lead were inexplicable. I enjoy period romances and this one does not stay true to its era's voice. Among a number of anachronisms the word "sexy" is used at least twice--no way in Victorian England. I have seen Lindsey do a better job in other books.

Love this book

I read this book in 2009 and now 11 years later I still enjoyed again.

Where does A Rogue of My Own rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is a good, fun, light romance done in classic Lindsey style. Strong woman, strong man, some laughs and misunderstandings along the way, with an unrepressible attraction

What did you like best about this story?

The narration is always key to an audiobook. if you can't listen because the narrator's voice rhythm is off, the book is a loss. This narrator did a great job so I could lose myself in the story.

Good Book except

This is an excellent book. I am just not satisfied with the Narrator She is not as talented with the voice changes like the other books I have listened to. But still is an excellent read.

Another great romance filled with intrigue

Great story filled with mystery, intrigue and of course a great romance. With a special invitation to serve the queen's court, our heiress immediately confronts trouble with a jealous, but powerful roommate, a call to perform her duty as a spy for the duchess. But she's no miss to be messed with. Realizing something is awry, she fights back and in a battle of wits and a strong attraction, she gets more help and trouble than she wants from "The Angel", her counterpart in the spy game. Forced to marry him, she won't lose and fights to win his love as well.

I loved every minute of it. The narrative was outstanding. Johanna Lindsey wins again. Always a great read.

DISSAPPOINTED

The hero is quite the ass. He's lecherous, cruel and without redeeming characteristics. The heroine is a whiner and to stupid for words. I kept waiting for the whit and wisdom of many Johanna Lindsey books. (May she rest in peace.) It's so disappointing as I have enjoyed so many Lindsey storys.

Nothing like an Older Book

I had read this book when it was first published. It was great the audible was far better. Hurry get your read on and enjoy. You will thank me. Just enough conflict between our couple for us to say AHH. Just wish there was an epilogue I want to know more! The narrator was great. I have listened to enough books to know.
