Couldn’t put it down!
Loved it! The magic system is fascinating and familiar with a logic that reminds me of something sanderson would include in the cosmere. Can’t wait for the rest of the series.

Delightful narrator, fun fantasy story
I received this audiobook free, so it's time for a review!
First off, the narrator does a great job reading. She has a very soothing tone, that really enhanced the overall theme of the story of self-discovery and inner exploration.
Now to the story. I really enjoyed the overall journey through self-discovery and ultimately acceptance. Without spoilers, this book is unique to the ones I have read in the past in that the self-discovery is aided by confronting the 7 chakras, each at the character's own choosing. I've never read a fiction story based around chakras, and it was both a fun, but more importantly informative way of demonstrating growth.
Now the other bits, I have to admit that it took me a bit longer to listen to this audiobook than I normally read because I was getting a little lost. When transiting between the chakra and the entire group engagements, I was getting lost and asking myself huh? Normally when I get lost, I keep reading and the plot fills in, but since I wanted to give a thoughtful review, I was hitting rewind quite a bit.
Overall, an enjoyable ear-read. Targeted probably closer to a younger teen than older, but certainly worth a credit!

Not 100% on this storyline.
2.5/3 star listen.
I was gifted the audio and the narration wasn’t to bad.
World building was slightly odd.
Unclear if I’d listen to another in the series. Just not 100% invested.
