Not just for kids
A good short summary of NC history. It points to information that the reader can delve into further if he wants. I am not surprised, but disappointed nonetheless that the Mecklenburg county Declaration of Independence was not even mentioned.

interesting home state history
Narration was great. Content was interesting. With so much history in that one little state, the beginning history was made more interesting than reading a book.

This is a book for children
What would have made A Primary Source History of the Colony of North Carolina better?
I was looking for a book that would help me learn about North Carolina's history but this was too juvenile.
What was most disappointing about Melody S. Mis’s story?
It's written for kids.
Would you be willing to try another one of Jay Snyder’s performances?
Not sure
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
I'm sure it's very good for young grade schoolers
Any additional comments?
Just not what I was looking for.
