Best Book.on the Middle East
This is the best book I have ever read or listened to regarding the founding of the modern Middle East. It in clear unbiased terms shows readers why the Middle East is why it is today. Just a great listen on history.

Great book, okay narration
The narrator's supposedly authentic pronunciations of Middle Eastern names like "Sultan Mekhhkhhmet" or "Akhkhkhhkhmed Shah" bothered me greatly especially since it would have taken very little research to know better.

essential reading 4 understanding the middle east
I liked this book and its is a very detailed and interesting account of ww1 in the middle east. the book is a great place to start for understanding modern middle east's origins and geopolitics of the middle east . my only problem with the book was its length... its feels very long and took me a year to finish.
