Wish there was more, needed more tree cats

Like others, I wished there were more tree cats in this final story. I had hoped they’d have some kind of communication breakthrough between the people and the 2 legs. And last, some kind of an update on the landless clan. But regardless, I enjoyed the story.

Great book but not enough tree cats in my opinion

I loved the balance of tree cat and human point of views in the previous books but was sad to have only a limited view from the tree cats in this book. overall still a great book though!

A New Clan

This excellent story contrasts issues facing an elderly tree cat suffering loss of his wife, his job, depression, and choosing to remove himself from friends and family with the issues a teenager faces including juggling time for family, friends, work, chores, and developing teen relationships. It showcases Stephanie’s growing maturity and vulnerability including her experience with date rape drugs.

Great new Stephanie Harrington Novel

A new clan continues the Stephanie Harrington line of David Weber’s Honor Harrington series. Targeting a younger audience, the book describes the continuing adventures or the earliest tree cat human bonds. An excellent story, fill of heart warming moments.

Only wished there were more books in the series.

I adore sci fi, animals with intelligence, & Kristine Hvam. My only negative, I need more books in the series to make me happy.

Why the change in pronunciations?

Same narrator, drastically different pronunciations all of a sudden on the fourth book. It's jarring and disturbs the flow of the book, thus reducing the enjoyment.
Also, suddenly the treecats have quasi-british accents--so weird. IT makes the male treecats sound like Mary Poppins.

Story is excellent Narration is shoddy.
