A Quick and Interesting Cozy Mystery

4.5 stars ⭐️ A Murder at the Movies is the second book in the Secret Bookcase Mystery series, and this time Hollywood came to town. Annie is asked by a director to help put together a movie premiere for a thriller, but a nasty movie critic is killed at the premiere. Annie, her friends at the police force, and Liam (the cute pub owner) helps her uncover the killer. While there is a mystery to solve, Liam and Annie’s feelings have began to slowly towards each other. The book is a quick, interesting read.

Good series

I really love the narrator. She’s so easy to listen to. The storyline. Is cute. I would recommend it if you want an easy listen. That’s also entertaining. The only thing is Annie has a weak stomach. In this book she almost throws up every couple chapters. She needs some antacids. Handy

Good cozy mystery

Great cozy mystery. Both the author and the narrator kept me invested from the first chapter. With a number of twists and turns and a result I didn’t see coming, I was hooked. Cannot wait to read and or listen to more from this author.

Great series

I just discovered this series. Getting ready to listen to book 3. Really like the characters!
