Now with Death as his trainer, Peaches and Simon must undergo extensive hellhound obedience training. If they fail, they’ll discover that there is a fate worse than Death. Will Peaches learn to control his abilities? Will he outgrow the situation and destroy the training facility? Will he ever get enough sausage?

Join Simon as he learns that a dog may be man’s best friend, but a hellhound’s love can dwarf any obstacle.

When Tristan receives a cryptic message requesting help, he and Simon must come to the aid of Quan of the White Phoenix. Someone has stolen the Holy Grail and the Order of Calyx - the group tasked with keeping it safe from abuse, and humanity is looking at the Golden Circle.

With time running out, Tristan and Simon must find the Cup, return it where it belongs, and confront the thief, who is closer than anyone imagines, before the Order mobilizes and destroys the Golden Circle.

When the Montague & Strong Detective Agency gets a visit from the Arctic Society of Sorcery to help them find a missing person, they realize the person they’ve been tasked with locating is the legendary Mr. K. - a mage known for his famous Ritual of Esper which occurs only once every 50 years.

The Arctic Society of Sorcery suspects the Greater Krampus, Wrakjan, is behind the abduction, in an effort to sabotage the ritual and unleash a wave of despair and triggering the Gloom.

With only a week to complete the ritual, Monty & Strong have little time to find Mr. K and no clue where to start the search. Fortunately, Cece, a Jotnar Ice Mage and Monty’s young apprentice, may have the key to the location of Mr. K.

Together, they must locate and rescue Mr. K before time runs out, and stop Wrakjan from corrupting the ritual, and plunging the world into darkness.

Failure is not an option.

Side tales for more win.

The Montague and Strong world is vast, deep and wide. The main novels follow Peaches and his two humans but these side tales flesh the world out even more.

This collection contains Training Peaches, Monty Tristan and the Holy Grail, and the feels of Christmas.

While the stories are not required reading to understand the M&S world they provide little insights into the minds of the characters. Personally, I don't miss getting any of the books because they are awesome: add Kevin T Collins as the narrator and all M&S world novels and novellas are also auto buy.

In a Proper Hellhound we get to see Simon learn a little bit more about his own power as expressed through being bound to a hell hound. Learning to work the bond between them without the need of a limiting collar is necessary but who do you call when Hellhiunds need training? Ezra! So a visit to the deli ends up feeling a little destructive to Simon... but as there is destruction it must just be Tuesday.

I'm probably going to Hartford, Hereford, and Hampshire for the comment about Monty Tristan and the Holy Grail but I think I can run faster than Tristan can cast a fireball on my a@@e. Yes, that would be the perfect cup for Simon to drink his coffee from (Sorry, Orlando but that thought, once thought of by me seems hard let go of) but someone's stolen it. Enter M&S to help retrieve the cup while dealing with extended family.

Saving Mr. K is just one large feel. It's the hardest of the thee for me to read (and/or) listen to because some stories aren't all just fluffy feels. That being said, Saving Mr K is one of my favourite Christmas stories because you get to run the gamut of emotions.

Botton line... Why haven't you bought this collection already?
