very good book George Alfred Henty is my favorite author the stories are a little repetitive in every story the main character is almost always taken captive

slow story, but interesting history

I listened to this entire book while traveling 18 hours across the Country. it was good company on the drive and gives different perspectives on people living in times of knights.

Performance :(

the reader's performance almost completely distracted me from the story, sounding robotic at times, the female roles were almost comically bad

Henty is a good writer. His characters are manly and seek to glorify God. I recommend this book highly to men, women, boys, and girls of all ages.
