"A Journey through 1 John" is a 5-day devotional exploring the concepts of Love and the Spirit found in 1 John. As one of the shorter books of the Bible, in a short time you'll uncover amazing truths; if you’re willing to look and listen for God, we believe you’ll find Him in some way this week. As Jesus put it in Matthew 7:7, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

You will have everything you need to engage this passage: the scripture, a reflection, guided questions, and a way to pray. These are designed to be accessible to you, whatever your situation. Maybe you have a Bible, and maybe you don’t. Maybe you like reading Scripture, and maybe you haven’t read a verse in months. Maybe you believe God loves you, and maybe you aren’t sure if He is real.

Whatever your situation, we really believe that God is real, that He loves you, and that He’s given you the Bible because there’s something He wants you to hear.

You don’t have to be “Christian” enough or “smart” enough or “well-read” enough to hear Him, you just have to be willing enough.

Over the course of 5 days, 1 John will present 5 key focuses:

These focuses will take you beyond an academic approach to the Word to something "abundantly more".
