it wasn't to long and raunchy. it had the perfect amount of love romance and mystery

This book is not too long and not too short. Not too raunchy has the right amount of mystery in love and magical.

I think the story would have been better, but the AI voice, was mono-toned and no difference in male and female voices making the story sleep inducing. 😴

A Howl to Remember

The AI reading really took away from the story. It was distracting and lacked in setting the mood. Whether the character was supposed to be whispering or yelling you could not tell from the reading. I will have to try the book in print.

Stronger together

Celeste knew returning to the little town of Whispering Pines would change her life for the better. An accident steals her memory, but fate takes control to place her future love in her path. Kade has waited for Celeste since she left as a child, longing for the other half of his soul. Surely he can help her remember their bond. As a dark threat looms over the town, Kade must prepare to fight while wooing his love. Not the best way to pitch woo, but needs must.

I like that Kade admitted to being afraid, the big bad alpha showing vulnerability. Experiencing Celeste relearn magic was fun, her magical mishaps often cause for amusement. The battle was over too soon, the head baddie vanquished in what felt like the blink of an eye. Steamy AF with great characters who will defend their home fiercely from those who would bring chaos to their doorstep. Baddies, beware.

I listened to the audio recording. Not terrible but a person would have been so much better.

If you like AI voice, it’s for you

I love MT books, but was not expecting an AI voice since I don’t look at the labels when choosing books. Very robotic sounding and all of the funny quirks that she writes just sound flat. There’s tons of cliches that were unnecessary and I won’t listen again.
