A Heroes' Bitterness Part 1: The Bitter Beginning is the first book in The Price of Bitterness trilogy. Part one has been broken into a mini-series.
In this first part, we introduce Maya and company, a ragtag band of heroes-for-hire, out to give evil a run for its money. Meanwhile, antagonist Georgia is on the prowl. After years of lurking in the shadows, she's finally ready to come out and wreak her destruction upon all the known universe. Her sinister plan is on the brink of launching, and nothing can stop her now...or so she thinks.
Maya and company may be the only ones who stand a ghost of a chance at stopping this evil. But Georgia's got a hero-killing plan. How will Maya and company survive?
