Two things happen at the same time as soon as Abby steps off the boat: a ghost flashes through her consciousness, and she gets her first glimpse of Domino Pascale. But this is her dream island getaway, and she didn't come for a fling.

Domino is a bad boy, and he knows it. Relying on his striking good looks, the island resort employing him provides him with the perfect playground, even if fraternizing with the guests or staff is against the rules. But, for reasons of his own, he targets Abby, who is completely different from the sophisticated women he normally associates with.

Abby doesn't trust him - the two piranha girls who arrived with her are more his style. But circumstances forcing them together bring out a side of him that he rarely allows others - women - to see. Abby knows she is in trouble.

What is Domino's real motivation for pursuing Abby? Is he too arrogant for his own good?
