So much of what is written in the self-defense world is about the physical nature of violence, and of that, more has to do with the way men handle violence rather than addressing the needs of women in a realistic and thoughtful way. The reality is that the majority of us are far further ahead to avoid what we can, and far more likely to use mental and emotional intelligence than we are to ever grace a physical self-defense class with our presence. And if I was completely honest, that is most often the better approach. It’ll help to keep you from becoming distracted by all of the noise that exists out there which is often filled with well intentioned but bad advice and methodology.In this book, I’m going to cut through as much noise as I can and use as many shortcuts to learning as I know to get you the information in a way that is easy to learn, maintain, and implement.
