A Grandparent's Little Prayer Book

Grandparents tend to look back on their lives recognizing the times they succumbed to the sins and obsessions of earthly passions and desires. With prayers, they ask God to forgive those early transgressions and to give them the strength finish the race on a high note. They understand that happiness comes at at cost. This was true in raising children and grandchildren. This is true in reaching out for an eternal happiness. The cost of prayerfully requesting forgiveness and seeking enlightenment never end, no matter how old we are. As we age, our eyes are ever more on the goal and the means by which we might reach it. Humbly, we offer our prayers to the Holy Trinity, Mary and Joseph for assistance in securing that prize so eagerly sought--our final happiness.
