Absolutely loved this book!

If you’re into archaeological thrillers, ancient secrets, and high-stakes adventure, A God in Chains is a total rush. It starts with the hunt for a missing relic and quickly spirals into something far bigger, hidden monasteries in the Himalayas, Nazi treasure convoys, and the shadowy depths of the Vatican catacombs. Every chapter adds another layer of mystery, history, and danger.

Roxy Kane might just be my new favorite action heroine. She’s sharp, fearless, and completely capable of holding her own in a fight. She doesn’t need saving; she’s the one doing the saving. The chemistry and tension between her and Eamon Kade make the story even better.

I also loved how the book balances real historical details with eerie, almost horror-tinged moments deep underground. The Vatican Archive scenes gave me chills in the best way. You can practically smell the dust and feel the ancient air as they uncover secrets humanity was never meant to see.

If you like Tomb Raider, Indiana Jones, Dan Brown, or The Mummy, this belongs on your shelf. A mix of relic recovery, ancient conspiracies, secret catacombs, and pulse-pounding adventure, what more could you want?
