Powerful!

I appreciate that this audiobook is spreading the word and speaks to Gandhi's principles. The stories and annecdotes related to Gandhi and otherwise are well told - succinct and powerful and thus memorable. Thank you for sharing these insights - many of which were new to me. This offers fresh insights on climate change - an issue that's been longstanding and can be easy to become jaded about.

I learned a lot about how to look at the world and my life in it. I was somewhat familiar with Gandhi's teachings and work, but I had never learned much from Dr Pachauri.
Earth, Shastra and Humane, Athashastra our Concepts we should all become familiar with.
Applying these behaviors we can stop environmental degradation and growing inequality and have peace on and with Earth.

This book swings big, connecting Gandhi’s values with our current environmental crisis. sometimes it gets a bit preachy, and not all the ideas feel practical, but the urgency and sincerity hit hard. worth the listen if you’re craving more than just green buzzwords. heard it from the hospital. I might give it another go later with more focus.

Rethinking today with gandhi’s wisdom

I love how this book made me think differently, and honestly, even a bit surprised me, about the problems we face today, using Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings I hadn’t really known before.

Instead of just repeating the same old arguments about climate change, many of which people often dismiss, it shows in a simple way how Gandhi’s ideas can still help us balance modern life with respect for nature. I liked how it connects simple living with fairness, and how it makes clear that greed isn’t the same as need.
