A –It is hard to tell what you are buying when you get a book. Sure, retailers usually offer the first few chapters free, and that’s great. You can tell a lot about the writer’s style from the opening. But what about their ability to plot a complex narrative, set a scene, and finish a tale? Flash fiction is a perfect medium to get a taste of an author’s talents, and that is exactly what Glimpse is - a taste. Q – So there are other books? A – Book, singular, for now. Curses of Scale is my debut, award nominated, fantasy novel. It isn’t a lengthy read – topping in at roughly 300 pages – but it explores complex themes and has nuance.
