Who could have imagined that something as simple as a vacation could erupt into an event so life-shattering?
Alec and his wife, Trish, have finally decided to take a well-deserved vacation, taking to the highway early in the hopes of beating much of the traffic. One stop along the way leads them spiraling into one disaster after another. When they attempt to travel back to the highway, they find complete devastation and are forced further into a town they don’t know.
It isn’t until their vehicle is destroyed in a crash that they discover how truly horrific the world around them has become. They desperately fight for survival on foot without the slightest idea of where they are going or what will happen.
