A Former Person

'A Former Person' is the first in a series of man-on-the-run thrillers set in the 1930s inter-war period. Prince Dmitri Romanov is a member of the former Russian imperial family. He is a playboy and occasional thief of the Romanov jewels being sold on the open market by the Soviet government. Dmitri is asked by the leader of a Chinese Triad organised crime gang to repay a favour and return to Russia to rescue a White Army general who’s needed to lead an army gathering in Manchuria. Dmitri agrees, but is pursued across Europe by Bolshevik spies. Once in Russia, he discovers there is much more to the mission than he’d been told.
