As a single father, I found myself in a position where it was in the best interest of my child that I fight for custody. Many people told me how hard it was for a dad to get custody; and they were right. Father's have to operate under a different set of rules and expectations in order to have a chance at success. I adapted existing warfare strategies and applied it to the custody battle. Of course, sometimes I just had to learn from my mistakes as well. I wrote a Father's Playbook in order to not only tell my story, but also to help other dads who may be going through the same heart wrenching experience.
