Twists, turns and amazing relationships

I must say that Meredith and Hodge are a force to be reckoned with in each new and more engaging novel. MK Turner has a gift for creating a journey for Meredith and Hodge and all their associates(family, friends, and ......) that is a continuous twist of angst, uncertainty, compassion, trust, strife and ultimately some kind of resolution. With all of these components I found once again not one dull moment in the reading of A Fatal Assumption.I am going to be broad in my review of this book only because I do not want to put a spoiler here. Lee Beddow brings incredible depth and personality to each character in their narration of the next piece of the Meredith and Hodge's attempts to close the cold cases that currently keep coming into their office. This book was an emotional adventure for me as the reader. I was angry, sad(to tears...not my usual), and laughing in turns that were sometimes surprising and others twisted. I must say that each book in this series seems to be a bit deeper than the previous. It is incredible the way MK Turner has created this depth as it would naturally occur as relationships grow, thrive and change. This is definitely a 5 star plus read. I will as usual say it would be to any readers benefit to begin with the first book in the series but if you decide to start here I can almost guarantee that you will head back to the beginning at some point. I am grateful that I was allowed a copy of this audio book as this was such a great listen. I hope that this review helps you decide to take the leap and enjoy the journey.
