The strangest story ever written - it couldn't possibly be true. This is a completely mad tale of an extended Scottish family battling for an inheritance. A battle that reaches to the US President, ancient Mayan predictions and alien artefacts that cause a stir among every spy and extreme group in the known world. While investigating a double murder over a scrabble board with a central seven letter word - INHERIT - Detective Constable Callum MacCallum becomes drawn into an ancient mystery, helped along by the antics of the runaway CIA agent Jack Jacks III and the mysterious police woman called Siren. And then, when Lord Pagan Antler Stuart and Detective Inspector Donald MacDonald play around with their homemade rocket ... and managed to bring down a communications satellite, all hell breaks loose. There are spy satellites and US special forces all over the vicinity. On the ground, outside of the famous Italian restaurant, the Sicilian Haggis, the Reverend B.L. Zebub, jumps out of the way of a rampaging tractor ... and hits his head on a lamp post. There comes to him a revelation from god that the world is indeed flat and there is a scientific conspiracy to thwart the true truth. This begins the new religion of the "Flat Earthers" who gather in the local circle of standing stones to celebrate the new revelation of the true truth. In their celebrations in front of the worlds media, they fire up their lasers for dramatic effect - and almost blast the space shuttle high above dropping off another spy satellite. The space shuttle fires back ... and the worlds camera's bear witness to the Reverend Zebub being lifted to heaven by god. Meanwhile, the mystery of the alien artefacts are still being uncovered by the police and the escaped CIA agent. They are launched straight to the Antarctic - and into the hands of the shocked US special forces under the command of Major Ward - soon to be promoted to General Ward by the men in grey suits who would never trust one another, and by the US President on heavy medication. This is a work of wild tangents and uncontrollable laughter.
